#iGiveCatholic is a worldwide day of giving to Catholic ministries in conjunction with GivingTuesday. When we consider giving back, we should always think of our first charity - the Church. In 2020, #iGiveCatholic raised more than $12.7 million for more than 2,600 Catholic ministries across the U.S. Help us spread God's Word by shattering that number this year.

How you can participate:

1. Make an Online Donation - By clicking here, you will see that every single Upper Peninsula Catholic parish, school, and ministry is participating in #iGiveCatholic Day. Searching for your favorite and making an online gift reminds them the work they are doing matters. 

2. Spread the word - Send a friend a text! Forward this email! Share the #iGiveCatholic website! People love to support what is important to the ones close to them.

3. Pray - Take a moment and pray the #iGiveCatholic Prayer for its success today.

O Lord, giver of life,

we know that all we are,

and all we have are gifts from You.

We live in a world that celebrates consumption.

But You call us to be good stewards

of all You have entrusted to us.

May this #GivingTuesday 

prompt us to gratitude and generosity,

that brings nourishment to the hungry

and hope to the hopeless.

may be a miracle of loaves and fishes,

Pope Francis has called a synod on synodality, a two-year process where the People of God (that means you!) are being invited to reflect on what it means to journey forward together as a Church.

Today we share our many blessings in our Legacy of Faith newsletter. We are grateful to Bishop Garland for creating this fund to preserve and foster the Catholic faith in our diocese. Bishop Garland celebrates his 90th birthday on Dec. 13th. Your gift to Legacy of Faith would be a perfect way to honor him. 

Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity and Sisters of St. Paul Chartres were joined by eleven young women from Lake Superior State University, Michigan Tech and Northern Michigan University on a Nun Run November 5-7, 2021. As part of the launch of the 3-year Eucharistic Revival, the Stewardship and Development staff will read the book Eucharist by Bishop Robert Barron. We encourage any and all to join us in this endeavor. Eucharist can be purchased here.
