2023 PARISH ANNUAL ADMINISTRATIVE REPORT (PAAR)
An email was also sent to all parishes with the link to the report. PAAR submissions will be due to the Diocese by Sept. 30, 2023.
You may SUBMIT the form and make changes after it is submitted. The submission will trigger an email to you which includes a link unique to that parish to access the form to make changes at any time after you submit the form, e.g. you need the pastor to sign the form at a later date. If you have multiple parishes, it is best to complete a form for each parish and SUBMIT after each one instead of Saving. The submission will create a unique link for that particular parish so you can go back and continue to edit the information.
The link at the bottom of this section is to a blank template if that will help you in completing the information prior to electronically submitting the form.
The PAAR is a completely separate report from the PAFR-Parish Annual Financial Report.
CATECHETICAL SUNDAY
This year, the Church will celebrate Catechetical Sunday on Sept. 17, 2023, and the theme is “Renewing the Church with Families of Faith.”
Those who the Community has designated to serve as catechists will be called forth to be commissioned for their ministry. Catechetical Sunday is a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the role that each person plays, by virtue of Baptism, in handing on the faith and being a witness to the Gospel. Catechetical Sunday is an opportunity for all to rededicate themselves to this mission as a community of faith.
The USCCB offers several resources to assist parishes as they acknowledge their catechists and families in this important ministry in the Church. They can be found at:
