Holy Family, South Range Altar Dedication

Holy Family Church in South Range was recently remodeled including a beautiful new altar. Bishop John Doerfler visited the parish on Sunday, Aug. 6, 2023 to dedicate the altar and celebrate Mass. Father John Martignon, pastor, concelebrated. Deacon Dave Talford assisted and Deacon Tom Foye was the emcee.

Yooper Catholics attend World Youth Day in Lisbon, Portugal
Pilgrims from across the U.P. attended World Youth Day 2023 in Lisbon, Portugal. "Mary arose and went with haste" (Lk 1:39) was the bible quote chosen by Pope Francis as the motto for 2023's World Youth Day.
Miles for Ministry 2023

Dedicated runners and bikers are once again preparing to set out on a 31-mile trek in the name of supporting Catholic Campus Ministry (CCM) at Northern Michigan University (NMU) during their fundraising event, Miles for Ministry, and will start at St. Joseph in Ishpeming and end their race at St. Michael and CCM in Marquette.
