The Rite of Candidacy for seminarian Ethan Wilcox was celebrated during Mass at Immaculate Conception Parish, Iron Mountain, on Aug. 15, 2023. Bishop John Doerfler celebrated the Mass during the annual seminarians retreat held in Iron Mountain this year.
Sisters of St. Paul de Chartres 60th Anniversary

The Sisters of St. Paul de Chartres celebrated the 60th anniversary of their presence in the Diocese of Marquette on Aug. 11, 2023. Mass was celebrated at St. Christopher Parish in Marquette, with Bishop John Doerfler as the principal celebrant. Bishop Emeritus James Garland, Msgr. Michael Steber, Fr. Jeff Johnson and Fr. Dan Moll, pastor of St. Christopher, concelebrated. The Mass was followed by a reception in the parish hall.
