Michigan March for Life 2023

Yoopers for Life participated in the first ever Michigan March for Life held in Lansing, MI alongside many other groups from across the state. The group also got to meet Senator Ed McBroom and received a brief tour of the Capitol before attending Mass at St. Mary Cathedral prior to the March. The March was held on the anniversary of the passing of Proposal 3.
Diaconate Rite of Candidacy Mass

Bishop John Doerfler celebrated the Rite of Candidacy for our three men in formation for the diaconate during Mass at St. Michael Parish in Marquette Nov. 11, 2023. The candidates are Dana Langsford – St. Mary, Big Bay; Gerard Lauzon – Our Lady of Peace Parish, Ironwood and Russell Modell – St. Peter Cathedral, Marquette.
