Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Let us ponder for a moment the Christmas hymn "In the Bleak Midwinter." It is found in our diocesan hymnal, number 146. The music was written by Gustav Holst and the text is by Christina Rossetti.

In the video below, I offer a short reflection on the hymn and play a personal arrangement of it on classical guitar.

My brothers and sisters, in return for the great gift of himself that the Lord gives to us, let us give him our hearts.
