The congregation at St. Peter Cathedral in Marquette participated in the Service of Light on Saturday, April 8, at the Easter Vigil. Holding candles, the faithful brighten the worship area transforming darkness into light symbolizing Jesus' resurrection.

“I’ll train people in living a life of discipleship, and how to make disciples of others, beginning in our own spheres of influence,” [Fr. Ryan Ford] said.
“One thing needed across the diocese is leadership development: teaching people a Biblical worldview, and how to take their next step in following Christ, and how to use their gifts to be a minister of Christ inside and outside the Church,” Fr. Ford remarked. “In parishes, I’ll work with pastors, their leadership teams, [directors of religious education], youth ministers, catechists, and anyone who responds to Jesus’ call to be trained as ‘fishers of men’ and lead others to Him."
