Dcn. [Zack] Mazurek shared encouragement to Catholics across the U.P. He said, “no matter where you are, no matter what you’re doing, just realize God is loving you at this very moment and he made you for this moment, and he cares for you and loves you where you’re at. Just receive that and know no matter where you’re at, that he loves you infinitely.”

Tickets still available for National Eucharistic Congress
The Diocese of Marquette has purchased 75 tickets to the National Eucharistic Congress and is making them available free of charge to anyone wanting to attend. The purchase was made possible by a Legacy of Faith grant. The Eucharistic Congress is set for July 17-21, 2024, in Indianapolis, Ind. Tickets are still available, and are free to anyone who may be interested in attending the event.
Even if you are not able to attend the entire event, you may still attend on individual days. Adoration and confession will be offered every day.

Holy Hours at the Carmelite Monastery

The Discalced Carmelite Nuns of the Monastery of the Holy Cross in Iron Mountain participate in the Divine Office together.
The Carmelite Nuns invite all, especially if you cannot attend the National Eucharistic Congress, to come adore the Eucharistic Lord at the Monastery of the Holy Cross in Iron Mountain. The Holy Hours will take place from 7-8 p.m. C.T. on July 13-15, with the Sisters singing hymns about 10 minutes prior.
Each evening will include Exposition and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament, the Rosary and litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary, a reflection given by the Carmelite Nun’s chaplain, Fr. Peter Fosu, and hymns to the Blessed Mother and her Son in the Eucharist. There will also be an opportunity to be enrolled in the Brown Scapular on July 15, and Scapulars made by the Sisters will be available for anyone needing a new one.
