It is an honor to share the news that Holy Name Catholic High School in Escanaba, MI, held a graduation ceremony for its six high school graduates on May 31, 2024 - the first graduation in 53 years! Congratulations to the graduates, their families, school staff, and all the alumni and benefactors who worked so hard to make this a reality. May God's blessings be upon you!

Bishop Doerfler Prayer Intentions
ASK BISHOP JOHN DOERFLER TO PRAY FOR YOU
A direct mailing was sent to all registered households from Bishop John Doerfler in June. Helping to fulfill one of his primary obligations, to pray for the people of the Diocese of Marquette, Bishop John Doerfler invites parishioners to send him personal prayer requests. Returned prayer cards are kept in his private chapel, where he will pray for your intentions for the next year.

WHERE ARE OUR SEMINARIANS SPENDING THEIR SUMMERS?
The summer edition of the Yoopers for Seminarians (YFS) newsletter has arrived, and you can view it online here. In it, you will learn where seminarians are spending their summers serving through internships.
Since Yoopers for Seminarians launched in 2019, - five years ago already! - YFS has been blessed with many supporters and prayers and has raised over $600,000! Praise Be to God! This year, the YFS goal is $150,000. Fr. Joe Gouin has very graciously agreed to double his challenge gift from $25,000 to $50,000! To make a gift online now, click here.

Bishop Baraga Healing Mass
BISHOP BARAGA HEALING MASS
There will be a Healing Mass at the Bishop Baraga Statue at 6 pm on July 2, 2024 in L'Anse, Michigan. Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Corey Litzner. Private blessings with Bishop Baraga's crucifix will follow. Lenora McKeen, Executive Director of the Bishop Baraga Association from Marquette, MI, will provide a brief presentation of the life and labors of Bishop Frederic Baraga and an update on his Cause for Canonization. This event is FREE and open to the public. All are welcome.
BISHOP BARAGA BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION
Celebrate Bishop Baraga's birthday following the 8:00 a.m. and 5:15 p.m. Masses on Friday, June 28, 2024, at St. Peter Cathedral. Birthday treats and celebrations will be held in the lobby at St. Peter Cathedral after Mass. This event is FREE and open to the public.
