Happy Thanksgiving!
2024 was a year of many wonderful changes for me. In February, I started a new job with the diocese and married the love of my life, Jack, in September.
As the diocese's first Director of Missionary Stewardship, I have had the opportunity to get out of the office to visit our beautiful parishes. Our "Donuts with the Diocese" program has been a success and will continue in the new year as I visit each vicariate.
I am so thankful for the opportunity to meet the many faith-filled Catholics across our peninsula, including the Stewardship & Development staff, Scott and Lauren. You have all inspired me as we foster unity and shared purpose in our community and improve the flow of information between the diocese's leadership and its members.
I thank you for your patience while I learned this year, and I look forward to working together in 2025.

MARCH FOR LIFE PILGRIMAGE - JAN 2025
Join Fr. Ryan Ford, along with parents and students from Holy Name High School in Escanaba, on a pilgrimage to Washington, D.C., for the National March for Life: Wednesday, Jan. 22 through Sunday, Jan. 26. $450 per person includes bus transportation from Escanaba, quad-occupancy at Hampton Inn-Navy Yard, a pre-loaded Metro card, and participation in all March for Life events. The Baraga Educational Center and Museum will be open on Saturday, Nov. 30, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for small business Saturday. We will also be open late Thursday, Dec. 12 (until 7 p.m.). Shop local and support Bishop Baraga’s cause!
We will have raffle prizes and a Cookie Walk. Anyone who shops on those two days will receive a one-year membership to the Bishop Baraga Association. Lifetime members can gift it to a family member or friend.

SACRED MUSIC CONCERT
Last Friday evening, an inspiring free concert of timeless sacred music was held on the Feast Day of Saint Cecilia, Patroness of Church Musicians, at St. Peter Cathedral, Marquette. Featuring the majestic sounds of the pipe organ, the angelic voices of choirs, and the sweetly serenading melody of the violin and flute, the concert took listeners on a journey through the liturgical themes of All Saints Day, All Souls Day, Christ the King, and much more! Stewardship and Development's Megan O'Connor-Vander Lugt was a featured soloist.
