On Sunday, Feb. 22, Bishop John Doerfler celebrated the Rite of Election and Call to Continuing Conversion during Mass with catechumens and candidates from across the Diocese of Marquette at St. Peter Cathedral. Catechumens are those preparing for baptism at the Easter Vigil and candidates are those entering into full communion with the Catholic church at the Easter Vigil. Gannon Foley recently began working for the Diocese of Marquette staff as vice chancellor and human resources specialist.
"Spend time with the Lord, especially before the Blessed Sacrament. It’s incredible how he longs to encounter each of us—exactly where we are. Make the time and see how his love breaks through to you today," Foley said.
