It's been one year since I started this monthly e-newsletter with the intent to keep you up-to-date on what is happening in our beautiful Diocese along with a sprinkling of Catholic happenings world-wide.
During this unprecedented time, we all realize, even more, the importance of connection. We are reaching more 'Yooper Catholics' each month and your feedback has been uplifting. Thank you.

Holy Name School Receives Match
Holy Name Catholic School (Escanaba) recently received a $100,000 boost to its capital campaign to re-open Holy Name Catholic High School. You can read about the inspiring campaign here.
Catholic Service Award
Perhaps a way to express your faith during this time is to nominate someone for the Legacy of Faith Catholic Service Award. This award recognizes a lifetime of dedication and service to the Church. Criteria for the award can be found here. Deadline for nominations is June 1st.

Global Day of Giving - May 5
#GivingTuesdayNow is a new global day of giving and unity that will take place on May 5, 2020 – in addition to the regularly scheduled Dec 1, 2020 #GivingTuesday – as an emergency response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19. We ask that you remember your parish as you do any other non-profit organization on this important day.
