I have personally spoken to many in the last several months who have made those intentions known with a change to their will. St. Therese Altar Dedication
A new altar was dedicated this past weekend at St. Therese Mission AuTrain by Bishop John Doerfler. Father Michael Ocran, pastor, concelebrated the Mass with Deacons Tom Moseley and Tom Foye assisting. The altar was commissioned by former pastor Father Christopher Gardiner and constructed by Sacred Heart Munising parishioner John Ochman (above) out of 16- to 18-inch wide old growth white pine boards. Here Ochman lays in the altar stone that holds a consecrated relic of St. Simplicius, a pope.

Congratulations to Carol Parker on her Retirement!
Bishop John Doerfler and the Staff of the Diocese of Marquette congratulate Carol Parker on her retirement. Thank you for 34+ great years of serving the Curia, Parishes, and Schools! Your infectious laugh and institutional knowledge will be sorely missed. That's Carol, above, in the white jacket, with the staff of the Diocesan Administration and Finance Department.
Totus Tuus of the U.P. Goes Global!
When Father Ben Hasse told his Totus Tuus team that this year their mission would be digital because of COVID-19, no one knew what to expect. But the Holy Spirit has taken the message across the globe! Washington, Oregon, Arizona, Massachusetts, Florida, and many midwestern states are tuning in to see the missionaries and their fantastic videos. Feeding America Update
Many folks in the U.P. continue to struggle with hunger as jobs are lost and the pandemic continues. Faith communities in the U.P. have joined together to help our neighbors.
